What Information Do We Collect?
When visiting the ControlScan Website, you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you voluntarily choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis such as name, address, email address and credit card information and Website use information gathered on a collective basis as you and others browse our Website.
Personal Information You Choose to Provide
Registration Information
You will provide us information about yourself, your firm or company’ and your practices when you register to be a member of the ControlScan, register for certain services or register for e-mail newsletters and alerts. You may also provide additional comments on how you see ControlScan serving your needs and interests.
E-mail Information
If you choose to correspond with us through e-mail, we may retain the content of your e-mail messages together with your e-mail address and our responses. If you use ControlScan's "E-mail this page" feature to send a copy of that page to someone else, your e-mail address will appear as the sender of the e-mail. Both your e-mail address and the recipient's e-mail address will not be used for any other purpose.

Until you explicitly opt-in for the first time, ControlScan considers you in the opt-out category. ControlScan always notifies its customers when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party.
If you do not wish to receive any promotional or marketing e-mails and/or surface mail marketing letters, you may opt-out of receiving those communications by using the opt-out mechanism on the User Account Settings Web page, or by sending an e-mail with the subject line "Unsubscribe" to support@controlscan.comor contact a Customer Service Representative at 1-800-825-3301. When you choose to use our forward to a friend feature in our newsletters, you will be taken to a third party site and that their privacy policy governs the collection and use of the information collected on that site. If your friend wishes to stop receiving these emails from this 3rd party, please contact them at 678-247-0500.
You may not opt-out of receiving information regarding the security, initial use, expiration product enhancement of any of our Seal programs, or any other services we provide online and off. What Are Cookies?

We also occasionally share this survey data with third parties, but only in a cumulative, statistical format, without disclosing any personal or identifying information of ControlScan members.

To request a press release or media relations kit, or in order to contact a member of our Media/Public Relations department, ControlScan requires that you enter your e-mail address, name, company, phone number and reason for inquiry, either on our Web form, or by phone to fulfill your request.
